Inland Murcia is where Sense Experiences began and where we still live today.

Our experiences here take you into the vineyards, wines, food, history and landscapes of Bullas and Caravaca de la Cruz — a part of Spain that remains largely undiscovered by international visitors.

This isn't somewhere we've researched from a guidebook. We live here. We know it. We love it. And we'd love to show it to you.

Why Bullas – and why now?

Bullas may still be one of Spain's lesser-known wine regions, but that's beginning to change.

The region and its Monastrell wines are increasingly attracting international attention, with respected wine names including Tim Atkin MW, Peter Richards MW, Sarah Jane Evans MW Beth Willard and Ferran Centelles of JancisRobinson.com taking an interest in the wines and producers of this part of southeast Spain.

You'll discover why for yourself – meeting the winemakers, walking among high-altitude vineyards and old Monastrell vines, and tasting the wines with the people who make them.

This is much more than simply turning up at a winery for a tasting. We'll introduce you to some of the people behind the exciting new generation of wines being made in and around Bullas, with time to talk, taste and hear their stories.

Explore one of Spain's smallest and most intriguing wine regions, known for its high-altitude vineyards, old vines and Monastrell. We'll visit carefully selected local producers and taste wines that rarely make it onto the shelves back home

🍽️ Great local food – and wine

Food is an important part of every Sense experience. All meals are included, with carefully selected restaurants and plenty of opportunities to discover the traditional cooking and local produce of Inland Murcia.

🏰 Discover Caravaca de la Cruz

Our base for the tour – and our home for the past 20 years. Caravaca is one of Christianity's five Holy Cities, with a fascinating history, beautiful old quarter and its famous hilltop sanctuary.

🌿 Experience the real Inland Murcia

Away from Spain's busy resorts and better-known tourist destinations, this is a landscape of vineyards, olive groves, mountains, small towns and villages – a very different side of Spain.

We'll be based in Caravaca de la Cruz, giving us the perfect location for exploring Bullas and the surrounding countryside.

With four nights in the same accommodation, there's time to settle in, relax and enjoy the experience without constantly packing your bags and moving on.
