Flavours of Granada
A Tapestry of Taste and Tradition

We first ran our Flavours of Granada tour in 2025, and it proved to be one of our most successful tours to date.

From the city of Granada to the mountain villages and vineyards of Las Alpujarras, it brought together many of the things we love about this part of Spain: fascinating wines, local food, spectacular landscapes, history and, above all, the people behind them.

Wine was at the heart of the journey, but never the whole story. We visited small, family-run wineries and discovered some of the grapes that make Granada such an interesting wine region, including old-vine Garnacha, Moscatel de Alejandría and Vijiriega, a historic local variety enjoying a welcome revival.

Food played an equally important part. Tapas in Granada, local produce and traditional dishes in Las Alpujarras gave our guests a real taste of the region, while time spent with local producers allowed us to go beyond the usual tourist experience.

And then, of course, there is Granada itself. A visit to the magnificent Alhambra was one of the cultural highlights of a tour that combined wine and gastronomy with the history and extraordinary landscape of this corner of Andalucía.

The reaction from our 2025 guests was fantastic, as you can see our  Granada 2025 guest video testimonials

We don't currently have scheduled dates for Flavours of Granada, but the tour remains very much part of the Sense Experiences portfolio. If you run a wine school, wine club, shop or other group and would like us to create a Granada experience for you, please get in touch.

We'd love an excuse to go back.

If you have a group that would like to do this tour, please contact us
